I have usually used third party ink cartridges but after having to replace and install a new printer head, only to discover that the printer still wouldn't print, I put the name brand ink cartridges in and the printer started to print again.
So no more third party cartridges for me. I guess Canon was speaking the truth when they said that their ink is thinner and a proprietary blend that third party cartridges simply are not made of.......
