The imageFORMULA DR-3010C is Canon's fastest and most reliable compact workgroup scanner, combining the best features from the DR-Series scanners to deliver increased speed, high reliabilty, and maximum efficiency and productivity.

For added value, the DR-3010C comes bundled with Canon's CapturePerfect, Adobe® Adobe® Standard, Presto! BizCard Reader SE, PaperPort Standard, OmniPage SE software, and Kofax VRS software and a full featured ISIS®/TWAIN driver.

The DR-3010C has been tested for compatibility with many of the industry's leading electronic document management solution providers.

  • Duplex scanner with 50 page Auto Document Feeder (ADF)

  • Up to 30 pages per minute in both black & white and color
  • Simplex, Duplex, Color, Grayscale, Black & White, Error Diffusion, and 2 types of Advanced Text Enhancement scanning modes
  • Slant paper path design ensures smooth handling of everything, including mixed batches, thick and onion-skin documents, multisheet forms, folios, and even embossed plastic cards
  • Ultrasonic Double-Feed Detection
  • Automatic Paper Size Detection; handles 2" x 2.1" to 8.5" x 14" documents
  • Automatic Color Detection for easy scanning of mixed batches
  • 9 pre-registered scanning functions through an all-new Scan-to-Job panel with LED display to indicate the current Scan-to-Job button
  • Red, green and blue Dropout Color option; remove the actual form from a preprinted form (for example) increasing OCR effectiveness, and decreasing data storage

    Other than jamming while trying to scanning more than 30 pages at one time, this scanner functioning really well. All of our documents has bent mark, nic here and there, this machiine handles that well as long as we divide a large job into a few small packets. A little convinence, but it's well compensated by the speed and quality of scan. Just like other people commented need to tweak the scanning setting a little to make it work for us. Very happy with product, will recommended it to people with large quantity to scan.

        A:

        The DR-3010c can scan to PDF, JPEG, TIFF, and BMP file types. You would select the file format through the scan options in the program you're using. If you use Capture Perfect that comes with the Canon machine, you can select Scan Batch to File. You would be able to select between the above file types.
