The convenience of my Epson Printers allows me higher productivity when in "creative" mode. My color prints are very good for technical and artistic presentations of our products and services.
However, I dislike very much the fact that Epson has set the ink cartridge functions to reject inks that equal to or better than those recommended by Epson (their own, of course).

Nice but Way too expensive
I am trying to sell my photo's. The ink cartridges cost more than the printer. It is like that everywhere though.

Comments about Epson T078920-S Color Ink Cartridges, 5/Pack:
The Epson printers are easy to use and I love how easy the ink is to change. I print out most of my photographs and I love the quality of the finished print. They are hard to find any fault with them. I print labels for my CDs and DVDs and love the results. Whether I'm printing a paper label or directly to the disc surface the Epson ink is wonderful. Even photographs printed on cardstock come out wonderful! I have had great luck with printing photographs for my scrapbooks. The ink is even great when printing photos onto transparencies.
Comments about Epson T078920-S Color Ink Cartridges, 5/Pack:
The cartridge low life span is probably due to the size of the cartridge itself. I have frequently priced new printers with larger cartridges and lazer printers but by my research I have found this typical by what I consider "by ratio" per size of the cartridge. I have the Epson RX580 and I have truly been pleased with this printer. I have decided to continue using this printer until I can no longer find ink cartridges at Staples or other local stores. This printer is easy to self clean, change cartridges, or even insert a memory card to retrieve photos. I dread the day this beast is put out to pasture.

Q:
Hi, I've been using espon ink TO781 to TO786 with excellent results in pictures etc. My question is, is the 5-pk epson ink TO78920-5 have the same performance, I have gotten with TO781 thru TO786. Please respond Thank You
Queenie--I haven't noticed any difference. I assume the quality of the ink is the same in both the 5-pack and individual cartridges. But Epson's website offers a high capacity cartridge that costs a bit more but lasts longer. I have not been able to find the high capacity cartridges any other place but their web site. You might want to take a look at it. Earl

This is the first Epson printer that I have had so have not used the other ink you refer to. I just LOVE the 5 pack and would never want anything else.

TO708920 is only one we have used. We get EXCELLANT results. We use a Canon PowerShot, A570, for Car Show photography. We process ON SITE, with an Epson R280, and get UNBELIEVABLE results.

Q:
What is the difference between this 5/Pack of ink and the Epson Color Ink Cartridges 5/Pack that costs double the price? The box says 77 on it, but also you get 60% more ink.
Epson color cartridges have good quality printing. In comparsion to other printers and cartridges that I have owned, this is supreme.

the only reason i got your so call 60% off is because i submitted 9 recyclable cartridges 2 months prior to obtain $27.00 in store credit. so what do you say to jane doe who walks in to staple to purchase an epsom 5/pack of ink cartridge that cost $77.00 ,if staple think there price is that great then you guys need to stop reading your own flyers and step out side of the box.the only reason i go to staples is because of proximity to my house,,,,,cheers.
