Comments about Epson 96 Magenta Ink Cartridge (T096320):
I only use Epson's ink cartridges in my R2880 printer. At one time I tried a "mongrel" refill in a R2200. First, the printer wouldn't recognize the cartridge and when it finally did, the color quality was questionable. I make exhibition prints and cannot risk poor or inconsistent color quality. I usually order a full set of cartridges (8) or double the amount to be sure that I do not run out during a very important project. I order only through Staples on-line and usually have the order with two or three days. This is a great convenience to me.
Despite the similar number, the Epson 96 cartridge is not compatible with a printer that uses an HP 96 cartridge. You'll need to continue to use the HP 96 cartridge for your printer, as this one won't fit.
