I need this product for the printer I use. It's great to know that if I don't have one in the supply cabinet I can run [...] and buy one. If this wasn't carried in the stores I would be unable to process any paperwork until it could be shipped to me. As a wholesaler that puts me out of business for a day. No printer means no Packing List, Invoice or shipping label.

Very disappointed in performance

We use this product daily for our business & we're very disappointed in its performance. Unfortunately, it's now made with a film ribbon rather than a cloth ribbon. The cloth ribbon was more durable, lasted longer & was worth the $ spent. Plastic ribbon lasts (if we're lucky) 1 month. Our company is spending more $ than we should have to for a product that we can't find a better substitute ribbon for. Stuck between a rock and a hard place. Frustrating.

I presently have an Epson LQ-590, which needs a printer ribbon. I use the printer to print institutional information on tags that are heat taped to institutional clothing. The ink on the tags has never run. I guess the ink was indelible. If I buy Mfg # S015337, can I use that printer ribbon so that it won't fade in the wash?

  No, these ribbons are for printing paper. If you need a wash resistant ribbon for printing Heat Seal Garment Labels, you need to purchase an indelible ink printer ribbon.
