The color is the best thing about this product. The cost is high for the amount of printed material. The amount of printed material is minimal compaired to other cartdridges.

The cartridges run out quickly, price of the printer is low, replacing cartridges so often makes the price of the printer negligible. Other printers might cost more, however, cartridges last longer. Have not used the cartridges for photos yet and am considering a printer for photo printing only. Hope epson makes high efficiency cartridges available for this Epsom xp 400 available soon. Running out on a weekend or late at night is frustrating. I find that it is necessary to keep two complete sets on hand at all times. I would recommend this printer to a person who prints occasionally.. Same applies to all individual cartridges personally purchased recently
