I've used this as a book holder through 2 years of law school and it's performed well with big, heavy books. It quickly sets up for in-class use, and folds up quickly for quick storage in a laptop case. Takes up very little space.I know it's only supposed to be used for copy, but the thing is pretty well made. Try it before springing for that $80 steel book holder.

This copy holder is great for me because I type of things from books all the time. It's sturdy enough to hold a heavy book. It's adjustable so you can have it at almost any angle. A great buy!

I love this product after using it for one day. It is very sturdy and can hold a variety of textbooks. I am an engineering major so my books can get very big and heavy. The only this that I think is wrong with it is that it is made out of plastic which makes me question how long it will last. Other than that this product is definitely worth the money. It helps you so you do not strain your neck while reading. I also bought a staples version of this copy holder and the quality was so bad that I returned it and bought this one online instead. Overall it is a great product to use and it is worth the money.

Excellent product that suits its purpose very well. I needed a way to prop large textbooks up for long study sessions. The item is sturdy enough to hold ~1000 pg textbooks without issue, and folds up quickly for transport in a backpack. The only issue is the quality of construction -- it seems like it may not last very long, and I've already had to reattach one of the black 'feet' that are just snapped onto the back support of the device. Overall, though, you can't argue with its value and effectiveness. If you need a copy holder/book holder, a great buy.

I've had this for years, and have used it as a great copy holder until I went back to school. And I'm so glad I started using it for studying, because it really helped me prevent tension headaches and neck strain from studying for long hours as a radiography student. I've tried a few other book holders but so far this has been my favorite-- so easy to carry with me in a three-ring binder, and easy to set up and put away. Folds thin, to about half an inch. Pages turn easily by just flicking down the page holders, or you can hold pages down by flicking the holders up. Can hold heavy textbooks. The only things that I can say against it is that I've lost one of the rubber feet on the stand support, and the page holder tabs do tend to pop out. But they are easily popped back in if you don't lose them. Overall, my most recommended study aid for college students!
