The cheaper floor mats all seem to crack almost immediately. I have had this for over a month, and it remains smooth, solid, and no cracks. I will order another one for my wife's home office.

I was excited to get a chairmat that would be sturdy and provide a smooth surface to roll on. I was willing to pay the high price for durability and longevity. I was satisfied in the beginning but now am completely disappointed. I have three mats that are covered in cracks. When you roll over the cracks they pop. It is really annoying!
