Dependable Cartridge/Dependable Printer

The Laserjet series was a very good machine for HP. Cartridge life is good and lasts well beyond the 1000 page warnings you get. Cartidges are easy to install and never messy.

    We use this toner daily and it lasts us a month long. We print on average up to 60 pages per day. The installation is easy, and not messy at all! You simply 1.open the toner door by pulling the on door handle, 3. Pull old toner straight out of the door opening, 4. Unwrap new toner, 5. Pull on protective plastic strip hanging out of the front side .. Pull it completely out, 6. Push the new toner straight back into the printer door opening until it hits the back of the compartment, 7. Close the printer door, 8. Ensure that you have paper correctly loaded, 9. Printer is plugged in to working outlet, 10. Printer switch is "on".. Print!

        What is the difference between this cartridge and the HP Laser Cartridge Q6511XD (other than cost)? Both indicate they are compatible with the LaserJet 2420 Series.
