This, along with other toners, with the "Computer Chip" suck. There is a computer chip on the new toners for the newer printers that "tells" the consumer when the toner is out of "ink". In the process of changing out the toner, I drop the old toner and came dust. It got me curious so I took it apart. THAT THING HAD TONS OF INK LEFT. I went online and did a little research and found out abou the chip and what it does. All in all.... this and other toners with the chips completely suck. I remember the days when you could "shake" a couple more pages out of a dying cartrigde.

cartridges because they are very easy
to replace and NO MESS!!!
Only complaint is that they are very pricey!

usually order by mail since the cost is significantly cheaper than buying at the store and shipping is sometimes free. last a good while since my grandchildren use for school and just playing around. delivery is usually within a couple days. the color does not last a long time so i no longer replace them since i really only use the black cartridge. very easy to put new cartridge in and take old one out. like that i can return to staples store when empty for a credit. this is great so that the cartridges can be recycled instead of filling up our local landfill which is becoming old and no one wants another facility near them
