This is a good toner cartridge, but it could last longer. I replaced my HP 8330 printer with the HP M1522nf and experienced an increase in printer performance. The printer is fast, it's scan function is excellent, and the quality of the print jobs is terrific. But HP made extended use (i.e. more toner) cartridges, which I used to purchase for the 8330. An extended use cartridge is not available for the M1522nf. If you are listening out there HP, please make one.

I love my printer and the cartridge installation is a breeze. I have found that my average output per cartridge is much lower than advertised. I print mostly letters, gray scale graphics, event flyers, and newletters and am finding that I only get 600-800 pages per cartridge. This makes it cost prohibitive for me. The quality of print is always good (except at the end of a cartridge)...
