You were there when I needed you!

I teach high school art and use my computer and printer everyday. The yellow cartridge ran out about a month before school was out. The printer won't print when one of the cartridges is empty, so I was unable to use the printer. I asked the computer tech person at school for a replacement but she said 'no' because the yellow had been replaced not long ago. She could only replace my cartridges once a year, so I was out of luck. In order to keep printing, I purchased the yellow cartridge out of my own pocket.

Promises a 4,000 page yeild, only got less than 3,000 out of it, too expensive at that rate, will shop the internet to a better buy next time. I have been using these cartridges for over 3 years and never had this problem before. The chip must be ad in it, it is telling me I am using 6.8% coverage and over the last 3 years I'm doing nothing different, I suggest you print your Supplies Status Page frequently as I have to see if you got a bad cartridge or not, then they stand by HP's chips so go with a company that will work with you.

hard to rate a cartridge that you have NO choice in using any other cartridge. You have to use this HP cartrige in the HP printer, there is NO other option. And since HP knows this they HIGHLY over-charge you. I mean come on...Nearly $XXX for one cartridge!!!! And the printer takes 4 different cartridges for a total of nearly $XXX when you have to replace all 4. (I took out the priceing references because its not legal to do so in a review here) Pray that they run out at diffetent times! HP stock has to be doing quite well!

Bought this cartridge and the Magenta and one of them is not working correctly. Can't figure out which one. Have purchased in the past with no problems. This is the first time I've experienced a problem in 11 years. Will be taking them back for a replacement.
