I've tried the less expensive replacement toners for my machine but have seen a BIG difference in quality output. I guess the saying "you get what you pay for" really applies to this product. Now I only invest in the original HP toners for my machine to get the best value for my dollar.

Warranty is not good on these!!!!!!!!!!!

Bought several of these for printer bought new approx in 2008. About the fourth one was defective. Staples would not warranty after 14 days. Spent about 2 hours on phone with HP for warranty...Read complete review

Bought several of these for printer bought new approx in 2008. About the fourth one was defective. Staples would not warranty after 14 days. Spent about 2 hours on phone with HP for warranty, cut off 3 times, when finally connected, they took about an hour of my time to get me to copy and fax receipt, supply page on printer, then said if over 20% had been used on the cartridge they didn't warranty it and my remedy was to buy another cartridge. Conclusion- Buy a remanufactured cartridge for about 1/3 the price, and my experience is that these vendors will usually actually warranty your cartridges.

Only got 2850 pages from 51A. Staples was hesitant on giving me credit for it. Then give me $55.00 off new 51X. Not happy.
