I have an old HP LaserJet 4 Plus because it continues to print trouble-free after 12+ years of regular use! I have used other printers and they have broken after 13 months (average) of use. The replacement toner is more of a 'universal' fit than a direct-fit replacement. I had to push rather hard to insert the cartridge. Not good!

Normally buy generic cartridges simply due to the fact that they are usually overpriced otherwise. Was an emergency and had to have it. Will order a generic elsewhere to have as a back-up to not make the mistake of paying too much again in case of future emergency.
