In less than a year with my new 6500 printer, I've just bought my second XL pack. The original smaller one didn't seem to run out before 3 months, but I replaced it with the XL size like the others. My first XL was flagged as low well before 6 months, which isn't a clear advantage in lifetime. I replaced it with my original small size to make sure I use any ink left; then I have the next XL ready when needed. But its price of only 50% more than the small size means this is the right one for me to buy. I use regularly only for personal purposes. But it produces very clear charts and other work for my attorney so he has a visual understanding while he follows my verbal explanations. I've been very pleased with these results in particular; they matter so I can help my attorney work even better for what I want. I use all the colors to make these charts. I sometimes even color-code my text to make my points clearer. The shadings are distinct; this allows for more versatility in any area I work.
