I work in a small office and have a polycom sound point IP 450 phone. Need to know if this headset is compatable. It does not have a USB port, just a standard headset plug in on the side of the phone. I am looking for a headset that will work with this phone. Hoping someone can tell me.

  This does have a mute button, but it is on the base of the headset, not the headset itself. To answer remotely you will need a remote handset lifter. If your telephone has a built-in electronic hook switch (EHS), you will not need the lifter to use the remote answer function.
