    I'm going to tell it to you strait. First it's just amazing. Perfect size (7inches) pixels are great , Internet is fast , great speakers easier to read (compared to the $159 one) is well built. Only the power button and volume buttons are small and harder to find. Apps play smoothly movies are perfect my hole family loves it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TABLET FOR KIDS AND ADULTS.

    We purchased this for our 4 year old son, yes 4. Extremely easy for him to use without any adult help. He can download games and shows with ease or we can set a password so he cannot download anything. We have the Amazon prime account so we can purchase a whole season of kids shows for the price of one show without the membership. Great picture and sound.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

        Well, the Kindle Fire runs a customized version of the Android operating system with an interface designed by Amazon. It can run most Android apps and Amazon provides an app store for you to download new apps. The difference is that the Kindle Fire cannot directly access the Google Play Store so the selection of apps available to the Kindle is somewhat limited. Many of the popular apps are located in both stores so you can still expect a wide range of options.
