The compact, handheld DataVac® Electric Duster is far less expensive and safer for the environment than canned air. The 500-watt electric motor blasts off dust, dirt and debris to keep expensive computer and electronic equipment thoroughly clean and running at peak efficiency. The DataVac® Electric Duster is much more cost-efficient than expensive, throwaway cans of air, as well as, safer. The electric duster blows clean, dry, filtered air safe for all computer/electronic equipment, printers, copiers, fax machines, digital cameras, etc, as compared to canned-air, which can contain fluorocarbons (CFCS), halons, carbon tetrachloride, and methyl chloroform that are destructive to our environment. The electric duster is also condensation-free and contains no dangerous propellants.

    This is a great tool for cleaning out computers, printers, etc! I cannot stand compressed air cans because of the odor, can damage components inside of your computer, and not to mention they are pricey. When it's all said and done over a course of a year you will spend more money on cans of air, so why not purchase the DataVac?

      Disreguard comment from other user that gave 2 stars because it is loud. What does he think, a 3/4 HP vacuum motor is going to be quiet. If quiet is what you want use expensive cans of air. This unit is GREAT. Removes dust better than any canned air product. In the long run cheaper. I have 3 high end computers and work on 50 others, which require a few cans of air each year to keep clean. This blower does the job better and cheaper than canned air.

                This product is an electric duster that blasts off dust, dirt and debris to keep expensive computer and electronic equipment thoroughly clean. The electric duster blows clean are & is an environment al solution to the caned air, this DataVac does not suck or vacuum like a regular house vacuum.
