The headset doesn't fit that great on my head, but I just use the microphone portion of it anyway, so I collapse the headphones in and turn it upside-down and it makes a perfect standing microphone on my desk. It picks up voice really well. I wouldn't use it to record my guitar playing or anything, but it serves it's purpose, and I'm pleased with it. Although I am afraid the little plastic hinges may not last for many years, as they seem a bit flimsy.

You know when a microphone fails at being a mircophone when the first buy it and take it home and then want to try it out and so you open it out of the hard plasic and plug into your computer but guess what it does not work oh yea the sound work just fine but the microphone part is a joke is like they forgot they where makeing a mircophone and though it was going to be headphones if you get this be ready to have recpie and headphone ready to take back to the store more then likely wont work first thing.

      I bought this NOT realizing that it went BEHIND the head and not over the head. quality is good. compactness is appreciated but have difficulty keeping it on me or my students as I purchased it for them to use with a reading program. I will pay more attention next time. I didn't realize this design was an option.

        Replaced an old headset just like it. Very clean sound from the headphones and microphone plus it folds up for compact storage. A little tricky to set up for Windows 7 even tho the box says Windows 7 approved but a simple audio driver update fixed that.
