Plastic wrap is put on before they attach the clip, making it hard to get all of it out. The material is a little thinner than other companies' (thinner aluminum; with the coating, it's about the same), and makes it a little more flexible (may not be the best thing for a clipboard). The finish looks nice, though; going to see how long it will last.

I thought these would be more of a brushed/clear anodized product. Instead there is some sort of smooth andozing/coating that detracts from the industrial look I had been seeking. It works fine, I just wouldn't have spent the extra money if I had known. Picture is a bit misleading.
