Thermo-sensitive gel ink formula disappears with erasing friction
Smooth-writing gel ink
Erasable pens are not recommended for use on legal or official documents. Do not expose to extreme temperatures less than 14 degree or greater than 140 degrees fahrenheit
If pen is exposed to temperature that reaches 140 degrees the ink will be colorless when writing. To restore color, cool to at least 14 degrees in freezer and the ink will again write in color

Good functionality in a simple body. Reasonable durability for everyday carry and making notes in work journals, etc. Can handle the jarring of travel better than mechanical pencils, and has a rounded cap that allows for easy carry in pants without the risk of sticking yourself or penetrating the garment. Exceptionally useful for temporary notes and diagrams in small memo pad formats where old notes can be erased cleanly for reuse with no damage to the page, or notes/drawings can be modified and updated on the fly. I think it would be nice to have some options in the format/barrel for more ergonomic grip and refills. Perhaps the designers can make a dual selectable version with both permanent and erasable ink so when the user is required to sign a legal document or the user doesn't want to encourage modifications the permanent ink can be used, and for everyday jotting of temp notes, the erasable ink can be used. Other than that, it works as designed, and fills a unique niche effectively. The eraser works very well and doesn't leave residues or fragments during use.

My children use it for school because it is easy to erase if they make errors. The major problem is if they write on the front of a page then erase and re-write, then turn over the page write on the back and they happen to erase in a spot that was erased on the front then it erases both sides of the paper. I recommend this pen because it is still better than the ball point version currently available by another carrier.
Nope, haven't seen them in any other colors - just the yellow highlighters and these black ones. I'd like to see them come out with a high-end refillable version that takes cartridges with a comfortable grip.
