      Unfortunately it is not compatible out of the box. A separate accessory called electronic hook switch cable (EHS) would need to be purchased in order to allow the headset system to work with Nortel phones.

    Will this work with my Polycom SoundPoint IP 335 phone? Also can I use a lifter with it?

      The only headsets compatible with the IP335 are Plantronics Supra Plus headsets, as all others supposedly produce a buzzing sound that can only be heard by the person on the other end of the line.

      We can confirm that the CS510 is compatible with most Alcatel model phones. In order to get remote answering capability, you will need either an EHS (electronic hook switch) cable or a handset lifter accessory.
