Flag this ingenious product from 3M

As a writer, I spend a lot of time reading. Much of the inspiration for my writing comes while reading thought-provoking books and articles. 3M's clever Post-it Flag Highlighter set allows me to not only highlight text to which I would like to return, but to flag the pages so I can find all those inspirations again.

The set includes three highlighter pens, each in a different color, and each with an integral dispenser of Post-it flags to match the pen. The pen body twists to reveal or protect the end of the next available flag, and a removable cap, with pocket clip, covers the highlighter when not in use. Of course, Post-it flag refills are available from Staples.

These are an excellent tool for the student, researcher, or just thoughtful reader. I have recently begun to use them with my photography and woodworking magazines, too, in order to find articles worth re-reading.

Highlighters too expensive

The product is just too expensive for what you get, and the number of tabs provided within the pen. A highlighter and post it's work just as well, if not better.
