Comments about Rubbermaid® Dustpan and Brush:

After working in a restaurant and in retail, I lost faith in brooms, be they traditional long-broomstick or little ones such as this. I am not exaggerating when I say that I could pick up more in less time using my hands as both a broom and dustpan than one of the many brooms and dustpans I used in my stint as a wage-slave.

I ordered this to clean up the floor around my desk (the previous cubicle-inhabitant had to eat at the desk a lot), which is covered in stereotypical office carpet.

I was very surprised to find that, not only does the dustpan actually catch things the first or second time you attempt to sweep into it, but the broom itself is actually very sturdy. The bits of food, rocks, et cetera that I'm trying to sweep with it don't just laugh as the insipid broom calmly floats over them; they are actually corralled into the dustpan!

The floor around and within my desk is very clean. I am thinking of buying one for using on archaeological excavations, as the bristles are so strong. The broom is a bit wide for tight spaces in excavations, but I think it will make a nice addition to any excavation kit.

Comments about Rubbermaid® Dustpan and Brush:

I like the dust pan but the edge is a little to high you have to really sweep to get the dirt in the pan. The brush works well hate that it holds so much hair insite the bristles.

Comments about Rubbermaid® Dustpan and Brush:

The product description neglected to state that the broom "locks" in to the dust pan. I think that should be included as it was for another brand-just worded a bit better. It almost made me purchase the other brand
