Comments about Safco® Light Oak Wood Stackable Sorter:

I got three of these. Each unit comes with 4 adjustable dividers. On average, about 2 dividers were OK and 2 were badly warped. In some cases, the warped ones were so bad that they wouldn't stay in their slots. But it's workable if you only want to use 2 or 3 dividers per unit. If you only use 2 dividers you get 3 compartments, 2.75" tall each, which I think is a more comfortable spacing anyway.

Comments about Safco® Light Oak Wood Stackable Sorter:

My office has ordered many of these and everyone is pleased with the quality. While these are not "solid" oak, the description does not state they are! If you READ the description you see "hardboard" dividers and like all items today 'light oak' is a color description - it has to say solid wood or it's laminate/partical board. The price is a little high, they have a pleasant appearance (instead of harsh metal or flimsy plastic) and stand up to heavy use. I've had mine for over a year and they're still in good shape. Please keep these in your catalog.

Looked nice in the picture. We were very excited to use them until they arrived. The shelves were so warped, that they don't slide into the slots. They just fall. Personaly, I don't find that very useful.

Comments about Safco® Light Oak Wood Stackable Sorter:

I purchased 3 of these organizers to replace the less professional looking plastic organizers in our office. The office had oak cabinetry so I thought these would coordinate perfectly. When I received the three organizers they all displayed similar problems. DIVIDERS:One had a divider board that was so warped that when I placed it in the bottom slot it practically touched the bottom of the box. The dividers in the other boxes also had slight warping or were cut incorrectly so they stuck out beyond the frame. BOX/OUTER FRAME:The exterior frame is made of a solid wood laminate, but the laminated boards on the top of one box were seperating and caused a couple of cracks to emerge. The joints were so full of putty that it looked like a preschooler had a little too much fun with their playdough. These are made in bulk in China which may explain some of the quality issues. I returned all three and bought metal dividers instead. I have recommended to Staples that they remove this from their site until Safeco has resolved the quality issues. Finally, for [$] a piece you can go to your local high school wood shop and get something much better (and that matches any existing cabinetry). It would also be made in the USA.
