Q: How hard is this to put together? Are there a lot of pieces? Asked on 6/10/2011 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 4 answers A: Per the manufacturer: Quick and easy assembly. Time-saving assembly systems such as T-lock drawers significantly reduce assembly time by eliminating screws. Drawers can be assembled in half the normal time. I am sorry that I wasn't able to find out how many pieces there are to assemble. Please call 800-333-3330 to order. Answered on 6/15/2011 by Susan D from Staples A: There are plenty of pieces, but they are mostly clearly marked and if not, they are distinct enough to tell what they are according to the instructions. It takes about 6 hours to assemble. The instructions are in depth, about 25 steps, and take a lot of attention. Difficulty level, about an 8 out of 10. Answered on 6/26/2011 by Kaiberry04 from New York A: I hired a guy to put it together. There were alot of pieces, but he had it together in no time. Answered on 7/8/2011 by Cindy from Waycross, GA A: My wife and I put this (along with the matching 2 drawer file and media center piece) over the course of about 5 days. We could only work on it a little each evening due to schedules with the kids etc. Overall I'd say we spent about 10 hours total between the three pieces, with the desk taking about half of the time. There are a TON of pieces but the ours were pretty well labelled, and we sorted everything out on the floor before beginning (a huge help, especially with the screws etc). Overall, love the desk.
