A must have to avoid a "Sniffing Buzz!"

When I teach about the Medieval Period and literacy, my students create stained glass window art using stencils, transparancies, Sharpie markers, puffy paint and construction paper. Sharpie markers last the longest while we are creating our stained glass and don't have a strong odor so my students can't sniff them to get a "buzz." This is great when working with 8th graders! I love the product, they are just so expensive and I wish I could buy twelve-packs of individual colors to replenish my supply as needed. I never have enough orange, yellow, purple or brown Sharpie markers for students to use. Even pink would be nice!

I have older Sharpies that are running low on ink that write better than these brand new ones. I originally bought the same package at a drug store and they didn't write at all and I returned them. The next day I went out of my way to go to Staples (not nearly as close) and bought the same package from them and they still weren't as good as the older Sharpies.
