Hey, it's inexpensive tape! I wouldn't use it to secure packing for GrandMa's antique china, but I use it for almost everything else from sealing envelopes to edging for paint jobs. If you want to remove it, don't let it on too long, but for taping things closed, you can't beat the price.

This product is very inferior for anything other than basic long term storage. As a store associate who has plenty of experience using every type and variation of packing tape that Staples sells, I do not recommend this product. Terrible adhesion and is very weak. I suggest Staples long-lasting tape instead. That tape works for anything.

    I actually replaced my duct tape with this packaging tape! There are so many uses for it, to name just a few that we have used it for at work - to hang our Thanksgiving and Christmas cards! It is clear so you cannot even tell- it does not pull off the paint when you are taking the cards off! We reinforce any storage boxes with it, instead of twist ties I use this tape. We have a lot of shipments and our shipper prefers this brand over any others! He never has had a problem with the tape splitting or ripping as he using it, unlike a lot of other brands!

        We would tape a box closed and by the next morning, the tape was no longer stuck to the box!
