    This office is a busy contract public defender's office which also handles general practice cases , so efficiency, quality and cost are equally important. We use Dell and Brother laser printers and these envelopes have performed well in all of our machines.

    Not printable on a laser printer

    These do not print well on our laser printers. They get bunched up and the print is distorted by the flaps. These might work on an inkjet type printer, but I don't have one...Read complete review

    These do not print well on our laser printers. They get bunched up and the print is distorted by the flaps. These might work on an inkjet type printer, but I don't have one here to test them with. The seal on these works good. If you use labels or hand-write envelopes, these will work fine.

      I have celiac disease and can't lick envelopes because most gummed envelopes contain gluten. Using a glue dobber or glue stick is a pain and adds time to my tasks, time I don't have to spare. Using the self-sealing envelopes makes things quick and easy and I don't have to worry about getting gluten poisoning. Anything that improves efficiency--and my health--is a good thing.

        What I like: that they are easy to use. You tear off the strip and seal the envelope. What I DON'T like: they do not always stay shut. Every time I do a 500 piece mailing, several come back from the Post Office empty, which means that they opened up en route. Now I always look over ALL of the sealed envelopes in a mailing and add a piece of tape to many of them. This add significantly to the amount of time needed to process a mailing. I recommend these with qualifications. I wish Staples would improve the product as there aren't many alternatives out there.
