Wow, what more can I say. There are a LOT of envelopes in this box. They look exactly like the package depicts them - no disappointing surprises after opening the box! The gummed closure works as advertised, and there is even room for a properly folded 8-1/2" X 11" sheet of standard paper in there. If you need envelopes, you surely can't go wrong with this amazing product. The only drawback I found was that they do not work well with e-mail, but I never have to lick the screen to send an e-mail either.

Greatest cheap envelope ever

I am happy to review this product. I purchased inexpensive (Cheap) white envelopes. I put a piece of paper inside the envelopes. I addressed them, stamped them and licked them closed. The operation went very well. Product did not require any instructions. The enveloped worked perfectly. if I ever need to repeat this procedure I will certainly purchase this product again at Staples.
I look foreword to reviewing other inexpensive (Cheap) products again.

I have used these envelopes exclusively since I retired from my company seven years ago. I write quite a few personal letters to my friends in Southern California mostly. I have never experienced any problem with the quality of these envelopes and my printers both old and new have accepted these envelopes without fail every time. In fact, they have been used in the printers in the motels' Lobby Areas that I have stayed at over the last years as I did my "Tours Of The World" extensive traveling by car all over the 48 Continental United States.

Best value in envelopes. Usable for everyday mail where security is not an issue. Very serviceable. Glue is easy to use and stays sealed. (I use Staples security envelopes when I have to mail something that I do not want someone to be able to read through the envelope.) I never had anyone tell me that the envelope arrived damaged or that the enclosed items were not there.
For the money, I can not imagine buying a better envelope. I have, in fact, recommended Staples envelopes to friends.

I purchased these envelopes for a mass mailing that my office was planning, something I will never do again. The glue that was intended to secure the envelope together, prior to sealing it, was very poorly applied. Easily a quarter of the envelops needed to be glued together by our staff. Many of the other ones had too much glue on them and we were impossible to use without ripping the envelope apart. If you are considering getting these envelops and are on a time frame you should only plan to use two thirds of them.

These envelopes are used to put our busines logo on them by running them through our HP LaserJet Printer. The quality of workmanship produces not only a terrific product, but there has never been any catching of the edges or sticking in the printer. Excellent.

How can I print mailer and receiver addreses on this envelops like we do sith avery labels or is not posible to print on them?

- A:
  What you want to do (assuming that you want to send to a list of addresses) is to use a wordprocessing(wp) program to create a "mail merge" document. I have done it, but it's been a long time and it is a confusing process. But the basics are 1)set up a mail marge document with the deminsions being your envelope size 2)set up or choose a database of names & addresses 3)set up the merge fields (neme, address, city, state...) in your document (envelope) (they must correspond with your database fields (same field names)4) merge the database and document. Remember, you will have to do some more researce on the exact way to go about this. Things must be done in a certain order. And I believe that once you merge and find something wrong, you may need to start from the begining. If you already have a database, it is worth the time and trouble to learn how to do this. Once you know the proper order and exact steps, it's relatively easy.

  If you don't have a database already and will have to type all of the addresses, you may want to consider a label making program and type in your addresses and use the envelope size for the "label type."

  If you only need to print a few and don't need to save the addresse in a database for future use, you can us Word or probably most wordprocessing programs to do them one at a time. To print one using Word2007 click on MAILINGS and then on ENVELOPES (earlier versions, click TOOLS then ENVELOPES). Type the delivery address and the return address. Click on OPTIONS to choose env. size, put the env. in the printer as shown on the screen and press PRINT.

  Try setting up your word-processing software (e.g., Microsoft Word, etc.) to use Envelopes as a Paper Size/Type and see if there's a Wizard to let you place the information right where you want it...or perhaps you could use trial-and-error to place it manually.

  I have Vista on my computer and it contains a program to print addresses and return addresses on the envelopes. Also my printer will accept envelopes to print. I have no problem printing on these envelopes and the results look professionally done.

  1. Print a return address in the upper left corner when you print the address.
  
  2. Use a 5160 label to print many copies of y9or return address. Apply one to each outgoing letter.
