I take doctors and nurses to the Dominican Republic to provide medical care to the Dominicans and the Haitians who can not afford care. We made 5 1/2 inch x 11 inch patient registration cards on card stock paper to record the patients medical history and symptoms. We needed something that could hold the cards, that was sturdy and that was economical. The index card box has helped us stay organized with out having to carry bulky records from village to village.

      The design is poor. It does not close very well. I don't know how long it will last. It will work for what I need it for. With all of the opening and closing, I do not know if it will last. They did not have any other large index card boxes to choose from.
