    I still use a columnar book rather than the computer to keep track of my monthly bills and payments. About 3 years ago, I had to order this online because it wasn't sold at the store, but I must not be the only one who still uses them because I now can find it at the store at any time. It has everything that I need and the only problem I have is the write-through when I use a felt pen for my headings.

                The description on this site for this 3 column book says: "•Tamper-evident Smyth Sewn binding ".
                But when I saw this book in the local Staples, the binding appeared to be a glue binding. Is it really sewn ? are there different versions on the website than in the store ?
                The issue is important to me because from experience I find that the sewn bindings will open flatter, the glue bindings often don't and are difficult to write in next to the center of the book.

                  This item would have Smyth Sewn binding. This would mean the item would lay completely flat, making them easier to read and write in.
