I use the 4 column hard cover record book for logging in my rowing practices. The columns are prefect for logging day, date, specifics of each practice & the 4 parameters: which are Time to complete workout, Meters rowed, 500 meter split time, and Strokes per meter. This allows me to track dates, events, and progress over time. The hard cover keeps the pages dry and clean; pages are extremely durable. Perfect for this use.

I would NOT buy this product again

Had to break the first page binding in order to get it to lay flat. Printed column widths have been decreased from previous books- to save Staples money?

I use it for my accounting homework. It is great because it has enough collumns for debits, credits, and balances of each. It is very sturdy, portable, lightweight and easy to use. Other products by the same manufacturer with other numbers of collumns are available for different needs.

All I could find at the time was a 4 column book but it works just as good as a 3 column that I was used to before. It works great to keep up with our purchases and deposits just like any other check register would.

Durable ledger book. Does not come apart with heavy use. A little pricey considering you can get lined notebooks for much less, but good for heavy use situations.
