Used these shiny tacks to display wall art and photos with astronomy theme. Their metallic, flush fitting on the wall offered a nice reflective accent to my galactical collection.

i can't actually comment on normal uses for these tacks- probably hanging up papers and pictures from a bulletin board... i have only used mine so far to hang ornaments in a window from a wooden frame. i broke so many of these trying to get the tack into the wood. i am talking about solid wood trim in an old craftsman style home, not the cheap pine stuff you buy at [@] nowadays. they broke right where the sharp base meets the round head. maybe i need to be using something sturdier from the hardware store but now that i have 6 in they are holding up the glass ornaments just fine. made in china, probably worth what i paid. would probably be fine for small cork bulletin board type uses.
