I was told at many locations that the printer was too old--cartridges were no longer made for it....I went to Staples and they told me they could order a cartridge for it--2 days later it was in! It works fine. The only difference between this cartridge and one of the new and improved ones (made by the printer manufacturer) is a little piece of plastic that makes it obsolete. That is called planned obsolence. Thank you Staples. (Now if we could lower the price a little more...)

I ordered two of these, as they are apparently the only cartridges still on the market that fit my printer. One of the two printed fine, but the other printed poorly. This was most noticeable in that it skipped some horizontal lines in spreadsheets, but it was also apparent in slightly fuzzy or wavy characters.

I ordered a replacement for the unsatisfactory cartridge, and that turned out to be unsatisfactory as well, though the quality problems were not quite as bad as with the first one.

Satisfactory quality from only 1 out of 3 cartridges is not a good record.

You never get the full life out of these cartridges. They always clog up before the ink is even half way gone. The manufacture does not make this cartridge any more so we have no choice but to buy these.

generally a good product, but one of the cartridges didn't last very long ... too much hassle to return it so I ate the cost. I only recommend it because this product is not made by the manufacturer any more and I'm not ready to buy a new printer. So I'm happy Staples supplies it.

My printer is a dinosaur almost 20 years old. It is a Canon BC-1000. It is a tried and true workhorse and is sufficient for my needs. It has never needed a repair and has printed on many reams of paper. I am so grateful that Staples continues to offer the store brand remanufactured cartridge for my printer and at such a still reasonable price! Thanks Staples for still giving good customer service to the "little guy". I enjoy shopping for non-computer items also. The Christmas cards are very high quality for a very reasonable price. I even got this year's cards at a half price sale before Christmas! You can't beat that! The staff are always very helpful and personable at the Falmouth Staples where I shop. Some are on a first name basis with me as they are long term employees. My Falmouth Staples feels like a local small town store with a big chain store variety of products and service. I would definately recommend The Falmouth Staples to all my friends but they already go there. The buy back of used cartridges is also a great feature.

  According to Canon's website, the BJC-2110 takes the BC-20 cartridge, which we do not carry at this time. We'd be glad to investigate the possibility of sourcing it from the vendor by calling 800.333.3330, though!
