As an English teacher, I use these every day to hang papers up on the white board. These clips are strong enough to handle several classes of papers up on the white board if need be. I can also hang poster board up with them because they are so strong and reliable.
The only downside of the clips is that I have to be careful with them on the white board and how I handle them because they have the potential to scratch the white board; however, the magnet is strong (and that's what makes it a better product), so I don't know if this minor irritation can be corrected. I'd rather have a strong magnet if I had to choose between a magnet and correcting the potential for scratching the white board.

I use these clips to organize loose recipes that I want to try. I then put them on my refrigerator where they are handy to find when I want to try a new one. They are also useful when I go shopping. I clip all my lists and coupons together so I can keep track of them. They also stick to the metal part of the shopping carts. When my granddaughter plays office, she uses them to keep all her "important papers" together. The magnets are very strong and the spring on the clips have a strong grip which will hold lots of papers without slipping.

These are the best magnets I have found. I have quite a few and even asked for more for Christmas.
I use them on my refrigerator and for osting things where I will see them.
