so so quality

I just finished packing so i don't know if all my breakables are completely protected until i re-opened everything but i can share my thoughts when I was using this product. I think the cushioning is not enough. Bubbles were not completely fill with air, very loose bubbles and they snaps very, very easily which worries me a lot when i was wrapping. I need to put extra materials because I found the edges of my glass/plates were not protected. I like the perferated feature so that i can just tear off when i needed but that also means there is one roll of bubble without air. there are times I wish bubble wraps are 2-3 inches wider. But the most disappointment is bubble snaps too easily and not enough cushioning which defeed the whole purpose of buying bubble wrap.

This item worked as promised and as advertised. It was shipped timely. Good value for a budget shopper as myself. If you are going to ship small items, this bubble wrap is enough. For larger items it may work also but it may be not so cost effective. Unless is occasionally used. I shipped small and fairly large items and and it did work for me well, However, I am not shipping stuff daily, not even weekely.

When you cut the flap on the end of the box to remove these 12" at a time, there should be an item 4. on the instructions. Pull UP. The instinct is to pull down or straight out. Once the roll gets used 1/3 or halp way then it will work either way, but initially you have to pull UP.

I'm using this bubble wrap to wrap and cushion Christmas ornaments and delicate collectibles for long-term storage. Delivery was quick and the box is large but light. No odor to the plastic. The roll is scored every 12 inches for easy tear-off and it appears that the box is designed to hold the roll so you can pull the wrap up through a slot, then tear off, but I wasn't able to master that. Tearing by hand worked well, and only one sheet (out of 100 used thus far) didn't tear precisely. The bubbles are very small, but didn't pop when I was wrapping. If you are packing items for shipping, I would recommend wrap with larger bubbles, but this size is less bulky so it's great for ornaments and such in crate storage.

A previous customer asked about what the recycled material content and the response was that it is not listed as being recyclable. However there is a recycled symbol on this and other Staples branded bubble wrap. So what is the percentage of recycled material in this product and/or why does it have the recycled symbol?

  According to a Staples associate, this particular bubble wrap is not recycled material. Maybe the symbol on it simply means that you can recycle it when no longer needed.
