I went from the 2" to the 3" tape to reduce cost. With the 2" tape I often required a second or third pass when packaging LCD Panel boxes or boxes that were larger than 24x24x18.
With the 3" tape one pass is very often enough which in effect reduces usage and ergo cost

This tape looks great and seems like it would be good quality, so I was excited to use it at first. I got our orders ready to ship out, but when I went out into the room several minutes later all the tape had popped up off the boxes, like there was vaseline or something on the tape keeping it from sticking. I had to re-tape everything and then it happened again. Not sure why this tape seems to be different from other users who commented that it sticks well... Definitely will not be buying this again.

        I ordered this tape by mistake thinking it was a standard width. The 3" is extra wide and does not fit in my dispenser. But I kept it and use it since the extra wide coverage does come in handy - I just have to manually cut it off the roll. Seems nice and sticky too!
