Great boxes. Here's how to assemble..

Once unfolded into a rectangular box shape, the entire inner layer pushes down. You will see horizontal hinges about halfway down the inner layer. Before pushing down the entire inner layer, pull the hinges toward the center of the box slightly. Once the inner layer has been pushed all the way down, the sides can be folded into place.

These are the sturdiest file/storage boxes I have ever seen. They are extremely easy to assemble: unflatten, push down (the bottom constructs itself) and fold in the third wall layer.

The tops are standard folding, but are heavy duty.

This is the first box style I feel that can stack with large amounts of heavy books/files inside.

The only negative to these boxes is that they are relatively expensive compared with others. I haven't had them long enough to evaluate their longevity, but I anticipate that they will outlast their cheaper cousins many times.

Once assembled these are great boxes but the assembly "instructions" are not only not helpful but misleading. The only way I finally got them assembled was by reading a reviewer's instructions. The assembly was easy once I understood how to do it but I was so frustrated before I found them that I nearly threw all the boxes out.

The instructions are hideous, and there is nowhere on the website that gives more detailed instructions. I have never had to go to a customer review to get assembly instructions for any product I have ever purchased. Once assembled, though, the box does seem very durable, except the one I ruined trying to figure out how to put it together.

Other than the weird way it "snaps" together, this is a good, sturdy storage box that should last for years on the shelf with repeated on/off the shelf.

Please note: DO NOT TEAR ANY OF THE SEAMS - the key to assembling this box is to get all parts going in toward the center and then push and it all snaps into place. Sounds easy... not so much with the bad instructions on the box. Once assembled it is a great storage box.
