I bought 20 of these in 03 when I was going to run a fancy paper business. Since the paper biz did not work out. However have had no problem finding uses for these file boxes. The plastic basically makes the storage water safe is a bonus. They stack great & hold even reams of heavy card stock I have left over and files today. More than half are now in my sewing/fabric room. The way they store fabric & hardware such as nylon webbing & buckles and zippers along with patterns I can't say enough good things about these for storage & organization. I could use another 20 and I'm not kidding. Eventually I would like to re-place the bulky covered tote containers with a wall of these drawers because you don't have to play rubic's cube to find what you need by removing 2-3 totes on top to reach the one on the bottom. Thinking outside the Box...

I use these units to store files that are not used very often. The drawers are a little hard to open when they are full. However, they do suit my purpose.

This is the best solution I have found to meet both my storage and filing needs. These 10-high stacking drawers can even be laterally and vertically stabilized in outdoor storage sheds with a waterproof tarp over the top, and even in rainy weather, my files have remained secure and in good condition. This only-as-much-as-needed stacking side-by-side solution helps save the cost of paying out hundreds of dollars in storage facility fees year-after-year!
