We did not over use this stapler.
We bought one a year ago & to lasted for a bout 8 months & then jammed all the time. I figured that maybe someone had dropped it since 3 people use it, so I bought a second one. This one jammed almost right out of the box.
I bought a SWINGLINE - paid a bit more , put it is a much better product.

  To reload this easy to use stapler you simply pull the top up and insert the replacement staples into the metal holder sleeve.
