It's small and light. It has a little padding at the bottom of the pack so that my laptop is a little protected from cracking when setting the bag down on hard surfaces. The padding's a little thin, so I still handle the bag carefully, but it's better than the bag I used before, when I heard the laptop banging on tables and floors as I set it down. This bag is also way lighter and more comfortable to carry than the old bag. I've only had it for about a week, but I'm really happy with it. The nylon seems strong and stiff in the right places, Zippers are easy and the bag is just fine, all around. I might have liked a choice of colors, but black is OK, too.

Not as good as their older versions

The other stuff was ridiculously expensive, but this is nowhere as good as the backpacks that were being offered just a few years ago at the same price.

I needed a laptop backpack that could keep me organized and not be too bulky. This bag is perfect! There are just enough compartments in just the right sizes to keep me organized and ready to go. The straps are thick enough to keep the bag comfortable, but not so thick that they appear bulky.
