Q: Can this chair be used on a hard tile floor? Caster reference carpet only. Asked on 12/4/2012 by dec671 from Concord, NH Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: You generally don't want to use hard/carpet casters on tile or wooden floors. Because of their construction they can cause scratching to the floor and wear down grout lines. Answered on 12/4/2012 by Community Answer from None

Q: TP8000 What is the front lever (hand grip) for and how does it work? Asked on 7/4/2012 by Bernie Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: Each lever is used to adjust this seat in a different way. The height of the seat and back can be adjusted, as well as tilted to provide the best postion for sitting. To place an order for this item, please contact us by dialing 1-800-333-3330. Answered on 7/5/2012 by Liz C from Staples A: The front-most lever is used to allow the seat to tilt forward past level when the third lever is unlocked (the one which allows the whole seat surface to tilt - I think they refer to it as synchronized tilt). If you unlock the third lever, the front lever will be activated....you have to try it to fully understand. Answered on 7/26/2012 by FuzzieStump from Pittsburgh, PA
Q: My chair was installed by the store, so I don't have instructions or a manual. Because of back problems I lean heavily on the arms when I get up and down. I weigh 185. Several times the arms have abruptly gone down, as though I had pressed the button on the bottom which allows vertical adjustment. Is this an installation problem, an adjustment problem, or is it just that the chair arms cannot support 185 pounds without going down? Asked on 6/21/2012 by Anonymous Know the answer? Q: The vertical adjustment on the chair back will not remain in the desired position once someone sits in the chair and rests against the chair back. The back will lower all the way to the lowest possible position. I can't seem to find any locking mechanism for this feature on the chair. Is there something I am missing, or is this chair defective? Asked on 5/26/2012 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: The back is set to go all the way down if you try to put it all the way at the top, move it up one click at a time and it will stay. Answered on 7/30/2012 by Arlene from new jersey A: The levers on the side underneath the seat are used to control the height of the chair, there is also a lever to control the tilt position of the back. The Tempur-Pedic chair you bought may be defective. Answered on 5/27/2012 by Community Answer from None
