    Pen is ok to good. It would be very good to excellent if the cartrdige performed much better. All sais and done, it is the better stainless steeel pen since Papermate professional was discontinued by Gillette ( idiots). The Papermate Stainless steel Professional cartrdige was the smoothest wrting cartridge I ever experienced. The F701 cartrdige quickly begins wrting roughly, skipping, and requires replacement far too frequently. The F-701 design of the pen is very good. Much better than the Cross or Parker stainless by far. In 2 of the ones I have bought, the clicker button has been a weak point. Summary I will keep buying it till I find onethat length that has a better cartridge.

    Ok, so I have had my eye on this pen for a while, I finally decided to buy it the other day. Why this pen? Because it's all stainless steel, it looks sharp. My biggest complaint with the pen is the width; it's just way to fat. I'm an engineering student so I do a lot of writing on a daily bases and this pen does not fit the bill, It's like writing with a mammoth metal crayon. My next small complaint is the clicker (tip deployment mechanism), it's not loud enough. One thing I do like about it is the very fine point and viscosity of the ink, the grip is also notable. I actually find the zebra f-301 to be a better pen, at a cheaper price. Don't waste the money unless you have the dexterity of a chimp. For the record I'm some weird guy who is very particular about choosing his writing implements.

    The pen has a smooth writing feel. I lay the pen down and have to look for it before I start writing anything. Other pens just don't feel as good.

        The Zebra F- 701 is a fine looking writing instrument,

          This pen writes extremely smooth. It takes no pressure to write with it. It has a nice rubber grip so it doesn't slip out of your hand. There is a clip on the pen so it won't fall out of your pocket. I happen to like a slim barrel, so this pen is perfect for me.
