Scotch archival 2-sided tape doesn't work

Useless tape
This tape is not user friendly! First no instructions on how to use it. Come to the website read reviews figure out how to use it and then when I pull off the beginning strip the tape splits. Well once it split there is no way to get an end to start again! Boo to 3m for a useless but expensive product!

Double sided tape splits
I use this double sided tape to mount photos and have multiple dispensers since I use it a lot. However, recently, while using this tape, the very beginning of the roll, the tape splits and I end up unable to restart the roll. I tried several different times trying to free up an end to start using these rolls again. Very disappointing.

Meh purchase
Can't get the frickin' backing off! Then read reviews and learned the little tab at the begining piece that I cut off i needed to leave... well I guessi wasted money on this! Grrrrrrr!

Poor design to have instructions in wrong language
Was ready to return it because we couldn’t figure out how to use it. Looked it up online to see if I was missing something, and it said “no liner”. We were trying to remove something to make it sticky on top. It would have helped if the writing on the tape was in ENGLISH!! Wish it worked better
I have begun to use this product, replacing another which is not readily available. I wish I could give it a good review, but the product is inconsistent, there is lots of waste and it is expensive. Definitely not permanent
Permanent, temporary, or both? Actually neither! It should say that it doesn't stick to painted surfaces. I was attempting to hang paper posters on my wall. It refused to stick to the wall. Unfortunately it comes in a 3 pack. So I waisted 3 rolls instead of just one.

I’ve only used regular scotch tape for wrapping presents and this was a happy surprise. I will be definitely purchasing this double sided tape again when this runs out.

Must have for elementary school classrooms

Love that it's invisible
Received this free in exchange for my honest review. Magic tape has invisible matte finish which I love. The adhesive is strong. what I love most is that you can write on it with pen or pencil perfect for labeling things.

Great! once you get past the first few inches
Pull the roll past the black writing on the tape then you're golden. All of the reviews complain that it was a struggle at first, so pull the tape out a few inches until the black writing is gone - the welcome to sticky city.

Great for crafting
Received this double sided tape for free for my honest review. My boys love crafting and this is a great alternative to using glue. No-mess and hassle free. It was a little hard to cut off the tape dispenser but other than that I will defiantly use this tape for crafting with my boys.

Get it u won't regret
When my kids or i want glue, i feels hesitant because of all the mess, but with thia tape i say No more mess, and totally hassle-free alternative. It is super sticky from both sides of tape, glides off roll smoothly and cuts cleanly and easily, and is Invisible when applied. What's better than that .
