No, there is not. The Staples Rewards program is available only to Staples® customers in the U.S., 18 years of age or older, with a valid U.S. mailing address and email address. Rewards are only granted for purchases made in the U.S. The Staples Rewards program is not available to Staples Advantage® customers or Staples employees.
Simply place an order online (make sure your Rewards number is part of your staples.com account), or make a purchase in a Staples retail store and provide the cashier with your Rewards number when checking out. For any purchase you make (excluding postage stamps, phone/gift cards, savings passes), you earn 5% back in rewards. Rewards will be issued once you earn at least $10 in rewards within a calendar month. Reward balances of less than $10 roll over monthly within a calendar quarter and expire at the end of the calendar quarter if $10 is not earned. If you’ve already earned a reward within the calendar quarter, you’ll be paid for any balances greater than $1 at the end of the calendar quarter.
Rewards Plus members are issued rewards online monthly when a minimum of $5 has been earned. Plus rewards balances of less than $5 will be rolled over month to month and will expire at the end of each calendar quarter if $5 is not earned.
Rewards Premier members are issued rewards online monthly when a minimum of $5 has been earned. Premier rewards balances of less than $5 will be rolled over month to month and expire at the end of each calendar year.
The quickest and easiest way to receive your rewards is electronically via email; just make sure we have your correct email address. (Log in to staples.com to check and/or update it now.) With electronic rewards, we’ll send you an email letting you know when you have rewards available.
Or, when you’re logged in to staples.com, access your available rewards by clicking on Staples Rewards in the Your Account dropdown at the top of the page, or access them from your Shopping Cart by simply clicking on “Add/edit coupons and rewards.”
If you’d prefer to receive your rewards via postal mail instead of email, please visit www.staplesrewards.com/mailme and select that option.
Rewards are issued monthly to members at staplesrewards.com within approximately 30 days after the end of the calendar month when the value of the reward is at least $10 (or $5 for Rewards Plus and Premier members).
Once signed in to your account from staplesrewards.com, you can view your rewards summary, including how close you are to earning your next reward, available rewards, and your store, online and phone purchase history. You can also edit your account profile, get credit for missing purchases and many other great features.
If you’re currently a registered user of staples.com, click on My Profile in the Your Account dropdown at the top of the page. Click “Edit” next to Staples Rewards Number, simply select Become a Rewards Member, fill in the required information and click Save Account.
If you’re not currently a registered staples.com user, click on Start Here in the Your Account dropdown at the top of the page. Fill out the required information and click “Continue to register for staples.com and enroll in Staples Rewards.”
To register your rewards number online, go to staplesrewards.com. Under the section titled “Create an online account,” click on Create account. Enter your rewards number and phone number, and then create your username and password.

You can choose how you’d like to receive your rewards, either via email or postal mail. Visit staplesrewards.com, and go to Edit Rewards Statement Delivery in the Account Profile section to select your preference.
Yes, rewards can be printed from staplesrewards.com in the View & Print Rewards menu under Rewards Dashboard.
You can also print your available rewards when logged into staples.com by clicking on Staples Rewards in the Your Account dropdown at the top of the page, then clicking Print next to the reward you want to print.
If you don't have a printer available, you can print rewards in our retail stores at the Special Orders computer or use your mobile device to access your rewards from the Staples Mobile App.
Staples Rewards members receive free shipping on all orders from staples.com as well as those made by phone or from an in-store kiosk, as long as a membership number has been provided. (Note: This does not include orders made at documents.staples.com, print.staples.com, staplespromotionalproducts.com and third-party Web sites linked to Staples.com.) Be sure to include your rewards number in your online profile at staples.com or provide your rewards number to the Customer Service Representative when placing your order.
To add a missed purchase to your rewards account, visit staplesrewards.com and log in to your account. Then select Add Receipt on the left-hand side of the screen and choose the type of purchase (store, phone, online).
If your purchase was made in a Staples retail store, enter the 17-digit barcoded number at the bottom of your receipt.
If it was a phone or online order, enter the 10-digit order number and 6-digit shipment number. The shipment number is the number of boxes that were shipped for that order. For example, if you were shipped two boxes for one order, enter the order number and enter 000001 in the shipment number field for box one, enter the same order number and enter 000002 for box two. Continue this process for each box in your shipment. A maximum of 10 submissions will be accepted per day per customer. Purchases are applied to your account within five days after they have been validated. Purchases from the prior two calendar quarters can be submitted for validation.
Yes. The expiration date is printed on the reward. Expired rewards cannot be reissued.

If a reward is not redeemed in full, on in-store purchases only, a one-time-only coupon will be printed on the bottom of your receipt for any remaining balance of $1.00 or more. The coupon will have the same expiration date as the original reward.
The balance coupon can be used in any one of our Staples stores or online at staples.com.
All staples.com orders or phone orders, excluding taxes, delivery charges, prepaid phone cards and postage stamps, must meet or exceed the value of your reward.

Yes you do. Members get 5% back in rewards in store and online, even on items shipped from one of our trusted suppliers.
Unfortunately, you cannot. You can only earn rewards for the purchases you make while you’re a member.
Unfortunately, we can only apply Staples Rewards coupons at the time of your order and cannot do so later.
Not to worry; as long as the original reward has not expired, you won't lose your rewards earnings. If you need to complete a full order return or specific item return, the check amount, which was prorated against the returned item, will be sent back to you in the form of a refund coupon. This coupon may be used for a future order with Staples.
Yes. Spend $500 or more in a calendar year, and you’ll be upgraded to Staples Rewards Plus status. Ink and/or toner purchases made on the date of recycling are calculated toward the minimum purchase requirement. Minimum purchase requirement does not include coupons, taxes or shipping charges.

Yes, you can. Rewards members can log in to their account at staplesrewards.com and select the option to recycle their ink or toner cartridges online. Members will receive a prepaid shipping label that they can use to send back cartridges. (Note: Online ink and toner recycling is currently available only for Staples Rewards members.)
No, they are not. Ink recycling rewards are issued monthly, separately from your standard Staples Rewards statement.

No, Design Services benefits refresh at the beginning of each calendar year. If members don't use Design Services benefits, they will lose them at the end of the calendar year. At the beginning of each calendar year, qualifying members will be able to begin earning up to $20 back in rewards again.

You can create a username and password using the 2-step process. You’ll need to know the rewards number, last name and zip code associated with your account in order to create a username and password.
To add your rewards number to your Staples.com profile, click on My Profile in the Your Account dropdown at the top of the page. Click Edit next to Staples Rewards Number, enter your rewards number and the phone number you used when you initially registered for rewards.
To change your name, company name, address or telephone number, visit staplesrewards.com and log in to your rewards account. Select Account Profile from the main menu and then click on Edit Contact Information. (If you haven’t created your login information yet, visit staplesrewards.com and click the “Create account” button.) Any changes you make to your profile can take up to 48 hours to update.
You can find your username using the 1-step reminder process. You’ll need to know either the email address or the rewards number, plus the last name and zip code associated with your account, in order to complete the username reminder process. Your username may not be the same as your staples.com username, but your username may be your email address.
If you’ve forgotten your password, go to staplesrewards.com. Under the section titled “Log in to your account,” click on "Forgot your password?"
Choose your method to reset your password:
1. Enter your username for staplesrewards.com (which may be different from your staples.com username)
2. Enter your rewards number
3. Answer your reminder question and click Submit. Then create a new password. Once your new password is submitted, you will be logged in with the new password.
We recommend that you use your email address as your username. If you choose to receive your rewards electronically, we’ll email you a notification when your rewards are available on staplesrewards.com. If you choose to receive your rewards electronically and do not provide an email address, we won’t be able to notify you when your rewards are ready.
No problem. You don't need an email address to get your rewards statements. You can set up a profile on staplesrewards.com without providing an email address.
In an effort to make things easier for you, we no longer require you to show your Staples Rewards card when shopping at a Staples retail store. Just give the cashier your phone number when you check out. This will ensure your purchases track to your rewards account and you'll have one less card to carry in your wallet.
If you’re making an online purchase, enter the rewards number in your staples.com profile under My Account. Click Edit on the Staples Rewards, Staples Teacher Rewards, Tax Exempt, Customer Number field, then enter the 10-digit Staples Rewards number and click Continue.
If you’re making a purchase over the phone, mention your 10-digit Staples Rewards number to the Customer Support Agent at the beginning of your order.
