How do I earn Rewards?

Earn an unlimited 10% back on Ink & Toner, case & ream Paper and Copy & Print purchases when you earn at least $10 in Rewards within a calendar quarter.

You can also earn Rewards on other items during our special event earning periods. These periods are noted in our weekly ad and Staples emails.

Staples Rewards are issued monthly when the value of the Reward is at least $10. Monthly balances of less than $10 will roll over each month until the minimum is met for that calendar quarter. If the $10 minimum for the quarter has not been met, the balance will expire at the end of the quarter.

Do all ink, paper, and Copy & Print purchases count?

Most ink and toner, case and ream paper, and Copy & Print purchases count toward earning Rewards. To view the complete list of qualifying items in each product category, please visit www.staplesrewardscenter.com/rewardsterms.

How and when are Rewards issued?

Staples Rewards are issued online at StaplesRewards.com monthly when the value of the Reward is at least $10. Monthly Reward balances of less than $10 will roll over each month until the minimum is met for that calendar quarter. If the $10 minimum for the quarter has not been met, the balance expires at the end of the quarter.

Ink Recycling Rewards are issued monthly for the full ink recycling balance earned in the month.

Once you’ve earned a Reward, it will be posted on StaplesRewards.com within 30 days after the month has ended. Rewards eligible to be redeemed will appear in View & Print Rewards in the menu under Rewards Home Page on the StaplesRewards.com website.

Can I print off my Reward from my account?

Yes! Once you’ve earned a Reward, it will be posted on StaplesRewards.com within 30 days after the month has ended. Rewards eligible to be redeemed will appear in View & Print Rewards in the menu under Rewards Home Page on the StaplesRewards.com website.

I participated in a special promotion but I don't see the extra Rewards earned in my account.

You can view your Staples Rewards balance by visiting StaplesRewards.com. Any special events that were participated in will be displayed in the Staples Rewards Summary, or you can view your item details on the Purchase Details page on the date of the purchase.

How do I get upgraded to Premier?

Spend $1,000 or more on anything in a calendar year and you will be upgraded to Staples Rewards Premier status. Taxes, postage stamps, delivery charges, coupons, gift cards, and purchases made from outside companies through Staples do not count toward achieving Premier status.

What are the additional benefits for Premier members?

In addition to the regular Staples Rewards benefits, Premier members also receive monthly Rewards when $5 has been earned, longer expiration dates, double the ink recycling limit, FAST and FREE delivery on all orders, additional savings opportunities and more.

How do I get FAST and FREE delivery on my phone and Staples.com purchases?

Staples Rewards members receive FAST and FREE on orders of $45 or more on phone or online orders.

Be sure to include your Rewards number in your online profile at Staples.com or provide your Rewards number to the Customer Service Representative when placing your order at 1-800-333-3330.

How can I earn Staples Rewards for each ink cartridge I recycle?

You can recycle ANY ink or toner cartridges, up to 10 per calendar month per customer and receive $2 back in Staples Rewards per cartridge. Limit one Staples Rewards account per address. We will recycle additional cartridges but Rewards will only be issued for 10 per calendar month per customer. Your Ink Recycling Reward will arrive each month, separately from your other benefits.

How do I change the name, company name, address, or telephone number on my Staples Rewards account?

To change your name, company name, address, or telephone number, visit StaplesRewards.com and login to your Rewards account.

Select Account Profile from the main menu and then click on Edit Contact Information. Any changes you make to your profile can take up to 48 hours to update.

If you haven’t created your login information yet, visit StaplesRewards.com and click the “Create Login” button.

How can I add a missed purchase to my account?

To add a missed purchase to your Rewards account, visit StaplesRewards.com and login to your account.

Once logged in, click on Help Center and then Add Receipt.

It’s important to add a missed receipt as soon as possible! Only purchases made within the current calendar quarter and the two previous calendar quarters may be requested for post-purchase credit.

If you haven’t created your login information yet, visit StaplesRewards.com and click the “Create Login” button.

How can I get another card?

In an effort to make things easier for you, we no longer require you to show your card when shopping at Staples.

Just give the cashier your phone number when you check out. This will ensure your purchases track to your Rewards account and you'll have one less card to carry in your wallet.

Do Staples Rewards expire?

Yes, the expiration date is printed on the Reward. Expired Rewards cannot be reissued.

How do I view the full Terms and Conditions of the program?

What happens if I don't use my entire Reward on one purchase?

If a Reward is not redeemed in full, on in-store purchases only, a one-time-only coupon will be printed on the bottom of your receipt for any remaining balance of $1.00 or more. The coupon will have the same expiration date as the original Reward.

The balance coupon can be used in any one of our Staples store, online at www.Staples.com, or by phone at 1-800-333-3330.

All Staples.com orders or phone orders, excluding taxes, delivery charges, prepaid phone cards, and postage stamps, must meet or exceed the value of your Reward.

How do I add a Reward to an online order?

It's easy! Just follow these directions to use your Reward at Staples.com:

  1. When you're ready to submit your order, click Checkout in the top right corner of the page.
  2. After you have reviewed your items, select Add/Edit Coupons
  3. Enter your 16 digit coupon code into the Coupon code or Rewards check # field
  4. Click Add Coupon

Don't forget your order will only process as long as the order, excluding taxes, delivery charges, prepaid phone cards, and postage stamps, exceeds the value of your Reward.

I am not currently a Staples Rewards member and I would like to enroll in the program.

We're glad you're joining the program! Once you enroll, you can take advantage of exclusive membership benefits and start saving on the essentials you use the most.

To enroll, go to www.StaplesRewards.com. Under the section titled Not a Rewards member yet? click on Enroll.

Skip the field titled Customer Number - we will provide you one upon completion of your enrollment.

Enter your contact information into the enrollment form and click Submit. You will be assigned your new Staples Rewards number. Be sure to use this number every time you shop at Staples!

I have a Staples Rewards number and I want to register online so I can manage my account. How do I register?

Visit StaplesRewards.com and click on “Create Login” on the home page.

On Step 1 of 2, enter your Rewards number, last name, and zip code and then click Continue. On Step 2 of 2, create your login information and then click Submit.

You will be automatically logged in where you can manage your account online, view your purchase history and Rewards you've earned to date.

If you’ve forgotten your StaplesRewards.com username or password, you can use the reminder feature.

To get help with your username, visit StaplesRewards.com/forgotusername. You will need either the email address, or the Rewards number, last name and zip code associated with your account.

You will need either the username on your account, or the Rewards number, last name and zip code associated with your account. Once your account is found, answer the reminder question and create a new password. Once the password has been updated, you can use this new password to login into your account in the future.
