Envelope Closure

There are a few ways to seal or close a 10 x 13 envelope, also known as a catalog envelope, including the following:

Gummed

Like the closure on invitation envelopes, a gummed 10 x 13 envelope includes a traditional water soluble gum strip that seals the flap when moistened. This is the most common and affordable style of closure, but lacks efficiency compared to self seal closures.

Clasp

Clasp envelopes feature a rust-resistant metal clasp and reinforced hole for security and protection of the contents inside. This robust construction prevents the envelope from being accidentally opened during transit.
