Glass is also often bound in steel strapping to keep it from being scratched during the transportation process. Black steel strapping has a high break strength and durability, with good shock protection.
- Polyester: A lighter-weight choice in comparison to steel strapping, black poly strapping is a cost-effective option for businesses that don’t need to haul extremely heavy items. Medium to heavy pallets and more can be secured with polyester strapping. It also retains tension over time, staying very secure.
- Polypropylene: This type of black poly strapping is the most lightweight of the three options. Popular for bundling or for light palletizing, this product shouldn’t be used on heavier materials. However, it’s very cost-effective for businesses that don’t require heavy shipping.
Break Strength
