The 2" hybrid filter is an alternative replacement filter that is compatible with all variants of AeraMax® Pro AM 3 and AM4 Air Purifiers . This single filter combines half True HEPA and half Activated Carbon in one for enhanced air-cleaning power. The True HEPA filter portion captures 99.97% of airborne particles at the size 0.3 microns, including pollen, ragweed and other allergens, viruses, germs, dust mites, mold spores, pet dander and cigarette smoke and an antimicrobial treatment provides built-in protection from the growth of odor causing bacteria, mildew, and fungi on the HEPA filter. The carbon filter portion uses commercial grade activated carbon which adsorbs a wide range of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and odors. The estimated filter life is one-year (depending on usage conditions). This 2-pack includes 2 hybrid filters and 2 pre-filters.
